About Us the story and people behind Qwikon

When I learned the details behind Daily Deals, I thought they were crazy.  A business owner is required to offer at least a 50% discount, and then pay a 50% commission for sending an e-mail, which meant they were most likely losing money on each deal.  You can't stay in business long doing this. I thought there had to be a better way. In one of those lightning strikes kind of inspirations, Qwikon was created.

Brooks is an experienced CEO with a history of successful start ups all of which he bootstrapped. He's been in advertising, commercial building, electronic product design and manufacturing with clients including Apple, Avaya, LG, Samsung, Sony, Sun, and many more. He has developed a number of consumer products which received rave reviews and international recognition and distribution. His passion for helping small business owners leverage the power of technology to automate and grow their business comes to fruition with Qwikon. He also started Best Day Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides adventure activities for children with special needs.

Alex has more than 15 years of experience designing and integrating software applications for small and medium sized businesses. He has helped companies such as Earthbound Farm and Fox Racing develop and integrate complex ERP, e-commerce and supply chain management systems. His experience running his own business has opened his eyes to the needs and time constraints of small business owners and he strives to make Qwikon as effective and hassle-free as possible. His favorite charities are the American Heart Association and ShelterBox, a non-profit that responds to disasters with essential supplies to those that need it most.

Jen graduated from Art Center College of Design with honors in Graphics and Packaging. Shortly after graduating she relocated to SF which was buzzing with technology startups. She has worked for companies such as: Electronic Arts, Razorfish and Idea Integration being the project lead for such clients as: Joe Boxer, Microsoft, Dream Works, UC Davis and the Los Angeles Superior Court. Her most recent endeavor has been working with House of Talents helping artisans throughout Ghana and Mali design and develop product lines that have a greater global appeal. Jen also donates her graphic skills to two other non profit companies, Best Day Foundation and Champions Against Bullying.
